Our Preschool classes are for boys
and girls ages 3-4. Using the Fun & Fit
Curriculum, we work on
beginning skills on Vault, Bars, Balance Beam, and Tumbling. Each
student
progresses at his or her own pace through the skills. Teachers
use positive reinforcement to encourage the gymnasts to strive
for their own Personal Best on each
skill. We have a separate room in our facility with specialized
equipment sized just right for
3 and 4 year old gymnasts! Teachers set up stations so that the
gymnasts can rotate through the skills, performing some with the
teacher and some that they can safely practice on their own while
the teacher supervises, minimizing waiting time and maximizing
the number of turns they have on each
piece of equipment. |

| We use fun activities such as Beanbags,
Hoops, and Parachute to teach hand-eye coordination and motor skills,
as well as Kindergarten Readiness skills such as skipping and hopping.
Preschool classes are an excellent foundation for ALL sports and
activities that the students will participate in later. They are
a fun way to make new friends as we learn gymnastics! Twice per
year, we have special days when the students perform routines they
have learned for their
family and friends! This is a great chance for them to show off
what they've learned in class. |
